About Mitch.
Throwback... way back!
"It all started doing chords back in 1969 for a square dance band at 14 years of age! Then, later that year for a surf music band with my cousin, Vaughn. Then, at 15, I got together with my brother, Big John on drums and left-handed bass player from Liverpool NY, Tim Masset. We played our first gig at Blue Mount Lake Center for the Arts with lead guitarist Dave Zilkoski, who later went on to being Project Engineer on "geodetic survey" which later became our GPS System. We played various dances at our school and other schools in the Adirondacks. When I turned 17, I enlisted in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division. It was after that I began doing solo gigs while attending Adirondack Community College. From that blurry point on I became a full time musician playing clubs in Lake George, Glens Falls and various venues from Old Forge to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where I met and played for Neil Young in a dinner club he frequented – once with Joni Mitchell."
